Natura Network 2000

The itinerary the exhibition Natura 2000 network, which started in the 2010/2011 school year ended with the exhibition in Porto Santo (from November 15^th to December 7^th 2012). The realization of the environmental awareness campaign was only possible due to the cooperation of Porto Santo Line and the Portuguese Navy. Thus it was possible to achieve the goal of bringing the scientific project Cetáceos Madeira II to all the municipalities in Madeira. The balance of the itinerary exhibition is translated into more than 145 thousand visitors of which 926 are students.

Madeira Whale Museum – Remembering the past, preparing the future

The exhibition organized in collaboration with the museology and science units of MWM was on display in:

Madeira Maritime Terminal – November 1^st. to December 2^nd 2012

Madeira Airports – Decmber 15^th to  January 10^th 2013

The assembly, disassembly and inauguration were the responsibility of educational services and the unity of museology (more information on  temporary exhibitions);

Sperm whales

The exhibition "Sperm whales and Daisies" was designed for the Flower Festival - 2013, at the 3 wood a May 15, 2013 the airport. The design, assembly, disassembly and inauguration were the responsibility of educational services and the museology unit. (more information on  temporary exhibitions);

Barroquices

The Barroquices exhibition was developed by Art teachers from EB2,3 Caniçal School and was on display at the museum from June 21st to September 2nd 2012 Museum. The Educational services provided the assembly and disassembly and the opening of the exhibition (more information on  temporary exhibitions);
