MARPRO Project
Luís Freitas, Madeira Whale Museum's marine biologist, is attending a workshop of the project Marpro "Natura 2000 sites and fisheries" in Porto, submiting a porposal about the creation of a SIC (Community Importance Site) for the Bottlenose Dolphin in Madeira's waters, one of the Cetáceos Madeira II project outcomes, developed by the institution between 2009 and 2013 and co-financed by LIFE+ project and Machico city hall.
